How do you recognize you have Angina? What are the symptoms of angina?

The following symptoms may be suggestive of angina

  • Chest discomfort (pain in left / right side of chest)

  • Chest heaviness

  • Chest tightness

  • Squeezing in the chest and back

  • Burning in lower part of chest or upper part of tummy

  • Pain in the arms or shoulders

  • Breathlessness

  • Sweating

  • Dizziness

  • Palpitations

  • Nausea, Vomiting

  • Back pain

  • Jaw pain

  • Breathing difficulties without having chest pain

  • Any uncomfortable feeling between the chin and belly button – in front or back
